YAGP continues to provide our students with amazing opportunities and exposure to the world’s leading dance institutions. This year, we took five of our lovely junior full-time students to YAGP Sydney to take part in classical, contemporary and repertoire classes over two days, taken by some of the word’s most prominent industry professionals, including, among many others, Alexander Campbell (Royal Ballet Principal Artist).
These kinds of events provide our young dancers with an invaluable experience as they prepare for their professional lives, and all students who took part represented PCCC beautifully.
We are extremely happy to announce that Abbey (13) and Rhett (14) were given short term scholarships to the Academie Princesse Grace in Monaco, where our 2021 graduate Zane Smith-Taylor is currently studying in his final year. These two scholarships were the only ones given by director Luca Masala to this prestigious school from YAGP Sydney, a wonderful recognition of the talent and hard work of these two young dancers.
Rhett was also given a full year scholarship to the Australian Ballet School, an amazing achievement!
